I hope as many people want to do it when I'm a counsellor ;)
Drink lots of water this week and your weight should soon go back down. It will just be the glycogen stores filling up.

In response to:Birthday Gal

Your doing sooooo well, come August, you'll be like Twiggy!

In response to:Birthday Gal

i am planning about 5 days off in august. we go away every year to a christian conference, the food is usually ok but eating together is part of the week, so i don't want to be stressing about what i am eating. i am planning to leave the cakes, puddings and cooked breakfasts alone and get straight back on track when i get home, seems like a long way away but since it is now february it will soon be christmas ;-) by which time we will all be gorgeous!!

In response to:Day 8

hey, you will get through, i WORKED in our kebab/pizza shop for two weekends whilst my husband was away and i didn't cheat once, let them have their carry out and you go and pamper yourself, read a book, watch a soap or something.

In response to:Day 7

because of our slightly weird lifestyle i eat later in the day. i don't 'eat' when i first get up, leave my first shake until lunchtime (yesterday it was 4 p.m. which is unusual admittedly). then one at tea-time-ish and one last thing at night, no reason to have them if you are not hungry - although you should have all three packs. your metabolism is going pretty well anyway because of the extra weight you are carrying. well, thats my understanding anyway, i saw a programme about it once.

In response to:Day 6 and First Weigh In

she's the only one in the area, due to go today, but am not even going, my mum is collecting for me, she has tried twice already to get me to become a counsellor!! she has been doing it for 20 years so perhaps has just had enough. i might consider it if i manage to lose the weight, depends on the money i guess.

In response to:Day 6 and First Weigh In

whoo hoo congratulations.

In response to:Day 6 and First Weigh In

Your counsellor doesn't weigh you!!!!
I've been keeping a bottle of water with me everywhere I go - and a glass of water when I'm at home. I have had to run to the loo on several occassions, I think if I waited any longer then I would have a serious puddle accident!

Keep in touch and lets hope for good losses this week :)

In response to:Day 4

hey, i'm on day 8!! doing sole source as well. i also decided after reading blogs etc. hereigoagain on this blogsphere is a real inspiration. push yourself to drink as much as you can, and also, wait as long as you can before going to the loo. the effect of that will be to stretch your bladder and you will be able to drink more and wait longer, you will also LESSEN the risk of incontinence when you are older!! alot of people don't realise that the less they drink means the less they can hold and the less you can drink, if you see what i mean. it's a common misconception, but not drinking can actually cause incontinence, and we don't want any of that do we? lol. if you read hereigoagain's tips for losing weight she gives alot of space to drinking water. so far i like all the sachets except broccoli and cheese which was horrible, i didn't take chicken and mushroom due to mushrooms being the food of the devil. i go back for my second lot on wednesday and have lost almost a stone so far. take care.

In response to:Day 3

cheers mate :)

In response to:Day 3

good luck finding the bush, lookout for nettles !
